span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";">Samsung has been offering Laptops all over the world and is recognized as one of the leasers in the industry. Samsung X460 is a newest offering by the reputed brand. It is as sleek as MacBook Air. Components are decent, with discrete Nvidia GeForce 9200 graphics and an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor. It is best for those who need the thinnest 14-inch possible, or just love the look. Samsung X460's main claims to fame are sleekness and lightweight; distinctive look; excellent battery life; solid brushed-metal construction and comfortable keyboard. On the other hand some users say that given its specifications (Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (2.26 GHz); RAM installed: 3 GB DDR3 SDRAM; Weight: 4 lbs), Samsung X460 is overpriced compared with comparable 14-inch laptops.
The Samsung X460 is incredibly slim, and is even lighter by a few ounces than the current 13-inch MacBook. The chassis is a mix of glossy and matte black plastic, except for the lid, two-thirds of which is covered by a panel of red-tinted brushed aluminum. It's certainly a distinctive look, but if glossy black and metallic red doesn't float your boat, there's nothing you can do about it. The X460 is a one-size-fits-all fixed configuration.
The Samsung X460 impresses with its battery life, running for 3 hours and 31 minutes on our video playback battery drain test, using the included six-Cell Battery. Both the Asus and HP 14-inch systems ran for a little more than 2 hours. Has anyone tested Samsung X460 yet? It is worth a try.
